I was born into a “dog show family”, I grew up showing rough and smooth collies with my mom Shelley Bergstraser-our kennel is Wild Wind Collies. I became a junior handler at 10 years of age and was given my first show puppy-who I raised, trained and handled-CH Wild Wind’s Magic Carpet Ride “Jasmine”. I was consistently one of the top 5 Jr. Handlers in Collies until I aged out at 18.
I have handled dogs of many breeds in almost every group to breed championships and countless group placements. I grew up learning kennel management, dealing with any health issues and how to travel and care for dogs on the road-it is a part of my heart and soul. One of my greatest joys is quickly learning the quirks of every dog I am given the opportunity to handle and building a bond.
